I discovered my love for design developed as I took a Visual Journalism course, and since then I have taken many other graphic design courses. Here are some of my work both courses, school newspaper, and design contests:

Description: This bookmark was created to submit to a design contest at the local library for the theme “Read: It’s in the Stars”. I received an Honorable Mention for my design, and copies were made available at the library for people to take home.

Description: Inspired by prominent women on social media, I created this graphic to empower women, showing two women of color leaning on each other as a show of support.

Description: This is one of two movie posters for my short film, "Today I Feel…". I used this shot from the film to convey the isolation of my main character. The resulting poster is being used for both online and print.

Description: I created this graphic for the issue of the "Mirror, Mirror" issue of the quarterly newsmagazine the Acumen. This issue of the Acumen won Best in Show at the NSPA/JEA (National Scholastic Press Association/Journalism Education Association) spring convention.
